Emerge, as a steakhouse, naturally leans towards being gluten-free by using simple produce focusing on proteins and vegetables. Keeping dishes uncomplicated and letting the ingredients shine.
Emerge has been recognised as a safe dining place for coeliacs with many trusted gluten-free options available. The chefs are knowledgeable about allergens and the risks of cross-contamination. Owner, Leah Gill, has a background in naturopathy.
At the beginning of 2024, Emerge achieved a menu that was 95% gluten-free. Later that year, the discovery of an exceptional gluten and dairy-free pastry, led to decide to the final pursuit of gluten-free accreditation with Coeliac Australia. Emerge received accreditation in December 2024.

Can we bring a cake to Emerge?
At Emerge, every ingredient, dish, and item meet the highest gluten-free standards for safe dining, particularly for those with coeliac disease or gluten sensitivities.
To maintain this certification, please do not bring outside food, including cakes, into the restaurant. We have had to turn away external food due to these regulations and appreciate your understanding.
