Why Gluten Free?
Emerge, as a steak house, naturally leans towards being gluten-free by using simple produce focusing on proteins and vegetables. We keep dishes uncomplicated, letting the ingredients shine. This approach reduces the presence of gluten in our meals.
Over the years, we have been recognised as a dining place with many gluten-free options suitable for coeliacs. Our chefs are knowledgeable about allergens and the risks of cross-contamination. The owner, Leah Gill, has a background in naturopathy.
At the beginning of 2024, we achieved a menu that was 95% gluten-free. Later that year, we discovered an exceptional gluten and dairy-free pastry, which led us to decide to make our entire menu gluten-free and pursue gluten-free accreditation with Coeliac Australia. In December 2024, we received accreditation.
